  Parkside church has become a home, and its congregation has become like family. Pastor Jim is encouraging, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable on the bible. His sermons are engaging, applicable, informative and entertaining. The people that attend are warm, caring and kind. They take unchurched and churched alike and make them feel more than welcome. As someone who began coming to Parkside as a non-believer I wholeheartedly agree with all of their statements, but one above all, "Belong before you believe". I felt like I was welcomed in with open arms on my first day. As a Parksider for over 2 years now I can say beyond the shadow of a doubt that I love my God, my Church and my Parkside family. Whether you're a christian already or you're just checking out this whole god/jesus thing, I know you'll love Parkside.

  We came here from the east coast in late 2015 and were looking for a kid friendly church, family church, where we could get involved and grow in our faith. Well, look no further. Parkside is all about kids. And families. And helping their surrounding community. They meet in the multi-purpose room of an elementary school and the ministry outreach is immediate: helping feed under-served families whose kids go to school there, volunteering in their reading mentoring program and hosting "Kids Unleashed" twice a year, offering free athletics and craft and skill classes for elementary aged kids. You'll see baptisms on a regular basis, as well as mission trip opportunities. People meet in life groups during the week to study God's word and do life together to foster community and mutual support.

  I love how Parkside is all about establishing the Kingdom of God on earth! I'm excited about its vision to reach North County San Diego, the West of the USA, and the World for Christ!
