  Very solemn..This is a great place for Contemplating...and Serenity...The moment you enter the chapel..you will feel God's presence.

  I highly recommend this place for retreats. The Benedictine order has made this a spiritual escape from everyday life. They've implemented water conservation in their upkeep of t by abbey. Beautiful art work through out the buildings. Very calm and serene.

  10 of my Quilting friends went for a Retreat for 3 1/2 days at the Abbey. We used the large conference room and it was very comfortable for all. The only complaint we had is we felt rushed at the meals since part of our retreat is to sit after a meal and discuss whatever. The hospitality of all the staff, monks, Brothers and Fathers was outstanding. They all seemed very interested in our sewing projects.
